On June 18, 2011 The Tustin Police Department held its 15th annual Open House.
The event was very successful based on the fact this was the largest crowd to attend the event since its inception and everything involved progressed smoothly throughout the day. |
Demonstrations and displays were provided by our police canines, Tustin/Irvine SWAT Team, motors and honor guard.
In addition, there was allied agency participation by The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA), California Highway Patrol, Animal Control and the Huntington Beach Police Department Helicopter.
Each agency had displays and answered questions from the public.
The OCFA conducted a vehicle extraction demonstration utilizing their tools and had a fire safety education trailer.
Also in participation were the Veteran’s Administration, Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), Mothers Against Drunk Driver (MADD), Tustin Police Officers Association (TPOA), Tustin Police Support Services Association (TPSS), Tustin Police Department Explorers and Farmers Insurance.
Every participant provided valuable education to the citizens of our community about the importance of public safety.
